A Year in Review

In August of 2016, we decided to turn our dreams into a reality. We opened Dovetail Studio, our full service interior design business. Plans for the retail store began, The Mill Shop & Co-Op, which was soon to open in October.

The shop was located near the Farmer's Market in the heart of Oklahoma City. Prior to construction, plans were drafted for the new space, finishes were selected and the process of renovating a historic building had begun!

Here is where it all started...

We scraped red paint off the concrete floors, painted, added shiplap and wallpaper, installed new baseboards, updated electrical, and added new flooring in 3 spaces.

Once construction was complete, we were ready to unload the merch!

Grand Opening night!

There was a lot of blood, sweat and tears put into this space and we were so ready for this new adventure, however...moving forward and just a short 10 months later... we had the opportunity for a new venture! It was time to move and relocate to Casady Square. This new space allowed us to bring in new merchandise, get to know new and different clientele, and expand our branding.

We have been so blessed over the past year with new opportunities and cannot thank YOU enough! This dream could not have been turned into a reality without the support of family, friends, trade partners, customers and clients. August of 2016 through December of 2017 could not have been a better year (little over... but who's counting)! There were ups and downs, twists and turns...it sure has been a wild ride!
